"The Motion Picture Event Of A Generation"
I can't wait for this movie! I have grown up reading and watching Harry Potter. My first experience with him was at my dad's old apartment, tucked in and ready for bed. Dad pulled out this book called the Sorcerer's Stone and began to read. Landon and I fell in love with the series from that beginning. "The boy who lived" practically became a family member to me.
I remember the day that I received the final installment in the series: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, July 21st 2007. I waited by the door for the delivery-man to bring my pre-ordered book to me, with butterflies in my gut and an antsy smile on my face.
However, the giddiness faded as I got further and further through the novel, knowing that soon it would be over. I will NEVER bawl that hard over a book again in my life! I'm telling you, I'm crazy about this series!
Now, though, I realize something very important--Harry Potter will always be a cherished and memorable phase of my childhood. Yes, I'm still a kid, totally enamored with this series. And you bet I'll be there in the front row on opening night!
Harry, I've been with you since 1999...I'm stickin' with ya to the finish.<3
