Tired.

Today has really been exhausting, but great. It wasn't exactly a shoot out of bed, sun shining brightly through the cotton candy clouds, fabulous hair day, brand new perfectly coordinated outfit, smooch from your boyfriend, and anything else simply wonderful that could happen kind of day, but hey! Why are we comparing? It was a start!

We did speed work today in cross country. Speed work (for anyone who might possibly not know) is an exercise strengthening your heart and helping to increase your speed by a jog, sprint, jog, sprint, jog, sprint method. I actually enjoyed it to a certain extent, and I sort of miss speed work with dad every Wednesday...maybe soon, we can get back on the horse...?

Lunch was just grand of course. I look forward to it more than anything else in the school day. It's the longest usual time I spend with Tanner (other than basketball games or movies which we do very little of) and I enjoy it immensely. :) I am really learning to accept the fact that we don't go to the movies and hang out every single weekend and a couple times a week like the regular smitten middle school girl would hope for. There's something about it that makes me feel safe and secure...its very hard to explain, but really. No thirteen year old really needs to be concerned about spending every extra second they can with their boyfriend.
Plus, I made a promise to myself at the beginning of try number two that I would never let the amount of time we get to spend with each other effect our relationship. Look at the couples who have to be separated for years because of war and such.
Yeah, lets not even start complaining.

I went to 27 Dresses with Brittany tonight even though I have already seen it. We had a blast. She makes me laugh like no one else. She's that one friend who I feel like I can really trust and she's never been rude or short with me in the least bit. She always seems to understand me...I don't know what I would do without a friend like her!

One more thing before I crash on the computer, I am getting my hair cut tomorrow! I'm only trimming the ends a little bit because they are starting to split and look really gross. They have never ever looked like this before; I am definitely due for a little trim. The only major thing I'm having done is straight bangs, thank you Reese Witherspoon. Nobody at my school has them, nor are my friends too excited about me getting them.
They'll all be shocked. :)
In a good way I'm hoping!
