thats what i like about you #2: you always have all the right words to say at all the right moments.


I don't know if I can describe how happy I was, the day I found out....
I was in the car with my dad, so I didn't want to do too much, or everyone would be looking at me funny.
On the outside, I was smiling, and giggling a little bit. But on the inside, I almost felt like a caged bird or something, just wanting to bust through those cold, iron bars and fly into the blue, velvet sky.
It went kind of like this:

"So who do you think I like." He'd said.
I didn't know for sure who it might be...there were so many great girls out there, y'know? So, I just texted back, "I know who you'd like if you were smart..."
"You.." He replied in a split second.
Random fact #1: We both have Verizon, so we receive each other's texts faster than anyone else.
Anyway, I didn't know what else to say besides, "Well...are you smart?"
As I felt my powder pink Razr vibrate, my heart started beating a mile a minute. I knew that this basically determined how the rest of my entire Thanksgiving Break would go. Maybe even the rest of this month...or if I was really lucky, or unlucky...the rest of the year.
Then, I read the simple three letter word across the screen. "Yes."
First, I read it aloud to everyone in my stepmom's black Acura...my dad congratulated me, my brother just said, "See! I told you!"
And I thought about everything else that had happened between us in the past four months that we'd been broken up...and it all made sense.
Then, he started asking who I liked.
"Well, how much does who I like really matter to you?" I said.
"A lot."
"Well if it matters that much," I said "Then I like you. Alot. :]"
"Then why did you break up with me?"
I was expecting this to come up sometime...
Basically, I said pressure from my friends...confusion, blah blah blah.
"Ah." Was all I got in response.
"I know its confusing. It really makes no sense to me either..."
Random fact # 2: After all that, it felt like old times...we were talking about normal stuff...like we never even broke up.



Random fact #3: That's the feeling I live for these days.
