HEY DOODS!!!!
I know I haven't posted in a long time but I've been pretty busy...well, not really...I just haven't really gotten to it!!!!
Last weekend I went shopping TWICE and got a pink shirt from Hollister, a shirt from Charlotte Russe that says "Your Boyfriend is on my Top 8", and a cream colored dress with a black bow that goes around the waist. I got two pairs of jeans from Lucky and several different shirts from there too. My mom also got some really cute stuff from Banana Republic for work and some decorations from Pottery Barn and Z Gallery for our house. I also got the shirt I've been wanting from Pac Sun which is greyish and says Fox all over it. I layer it over a green tank top that I also got there.
Saturday morning I did another 5k race, beat my PR, AND got third for my age group! I was pretty excited. It was a really hard race but I had lots of fun. The only disadvantage was that they didn't have Cliff Bars or Vitamin Water! I was upset about that because Cliff Bars and Vitamin water are REALLLLLYYYY GOOD after a 3.1 mile race! I think Cliff Bars are my new fave food too! They are so delicious and they come in many different flavors!!!
On Sunday, we went to the Easter church service. I didn't get it that much but Tommy cracked some pretty good jokes that I got. And I felt really good about going to church. It feels like I haven't been in a long time. We ate a fabulous Easter lunch made up of ham, garlic mashed potatoes, fruit salad, Iowa sweet corn, and rolls. I ate wayyyy too much but it was delicious.
Today was pretty good but I have been feeling sick all day and my chin is starting to swell up and I'm really hoping and praying that it's not my tooth like last year. Emily is in South Dakota so I was pretty lonely in 2nd period English. P.E. was pretty tough because we had to run (Fitness Day every Monday!!!) and first of all, I just ran a 5k, and second of all I'm sick and my head hurts so bad. We're making a rocket in 4th period Science for this little rocket launch dealie that we're going to do on Thursday or Friday, depending on when we are finished building the rockets. I texted my mom in the bathroom during 5th period EXPO because I have a pretty high fever and keep coughing and sneezing and my nose is running. I asked her to come and pick me up and sure enough, she was there to get me during 6th period. My mom had to leave the house to finish up work for the day and 5 minutes after she left, she called me and told me that there was a dog that this person was giving away.....soooo....she's gonna bring it home and we're just going to see how the puppy gets along with Lila, and if we like her and Lila likes her, we're going to keep her! Oh boy, we have a lot of pets.
